A small Phantom Hourglass review
Well, I beat PH and I thought I’d do a small review for it. So lets get started!
Controls 10 : Now some people would think that touch screen controls wouldn’t be so great. They are completely wrong!!! I don’t want to seem like I’m giving them a too high rating, but they work so well from drawing you ships path to taping where you want to throw and/or shoot bombs and arrows! So I give the controls a 10/10!
Graphics 9.5: Now there’s not much to say here. I mean you’ve seen trailers and stuff; aren’t the graphics amazing? I give them a 9.5/10.
Gameplay 9 : The gameplay is great for this game. You travel, fight MORE than 9 boss battles, sail. The sword controls very well. Using the boomerang is always fun too. There are plenty of side-quests to complete! The boss battles aren’t that challenging except the very last fight, I lost it one or two times. I give the gameplay a 9/10.
Sound 8 : There are lots of reused songs from older games. Some of them are remixed a tad bit. There are a couple of new songs. The sound effects are nothing impressive, but they are good anyway. So I give the sound an 8/10.
Extras 8: There is only a battle mode for an extra. I’m not going to say much here. It has Wi-fi and it’s fun, but it could use more. I think I still prefer the battle mode on Four Swords Adventures.
In all: 8.9
Here are some things I want to mention. I beat the game in 5 days, but that’s only because I played it like 24/7. The heart PIECES are no more so there are only heart containers. This time there are 16 hearts not 20. *very minor spoiler* For once you get an actual fire sword if you collect these gem things. So I give Phantom Hourglass an 8.9 and I recommend this game to any DS owner whether you love Zelda or not.

Thanks for the review!
I know its kinda a small review so I’ll answer and questions!
i’m not to big on touch screen controls. still sounds good though.
Hey, welcome to the blog dragoon14!
The game control is rubbish! Sctatching about with a stylus gives no sense of involvement whatsoever. Why oh why did’nt Nintendo provide the option to use the buttons?
